Printed Pins Made for Your Artwork

  • Minimum order quantity: 500 pieces per design, with different designs counted separately.
  • Choose a custom size and outline that give the printed design room to read.
  • Use solid colors, full-color artwork, or gradients, with Pantone references to guide color review.
  • Select a suitable metal base, printing method, backing, and epoxy coating where appropriate for the design.
  • If your project has a material or compliance requirement, we can check it with you before quoting.

Bring Your Printed Pin Design to WisePins

Keep the colors and character of your artwork at the center of the project. We help choose the pin format and print approach around it.

1. A Focus on Custom Pins

Established in 2010, WisePins specializes in custom pins and badges. Printed metal pins are part of our range for artwork that calls for full color, gradients or fine graphic detail.

2. Our Own Factory

We have our own factory with a 27-person team. We organize the materials and production around the sample and specifications you approve.

3. Help with Artwork and Print

You do not need to choose a printing method before contacting us. Share the image or idea you want to use, and we help work out how to present it on a pin.

4. See the Actual Printed Result

A physical sample shows how the colors, details and surface look together at pin size. You can approve the result before we begin bulk production.

5. Checks Against the Order

We check colors and artwork, dimensions and appearance, backings, quantities, and packaging. Problems found are addressed before dispatch.

6. Photos and Videos for the Project

We can provide factory or production photos and videos for your printed pin project, with the coverage agreed for the order.

Explore Printed Pin Options

A shaded illustration, a colorful logo or a detailed graphic can all be starting points. Show us the artwork or a reference you like, and we will help turn it into a printed pin.

Choose the Printed Surface You Want

We offer UV and offset printing, with epoxy coating where suitable. Tell us the look you prefer; we can help select the process for your artwork and pin.

  • UV Printing
UV printing uses UV light to cure the ink. We assess this option with your artwork and the chosen pin surface to find a suitable printing approach.
  • Offset Printing
Offset printing is another option for full-color graphics on pins. We consider the artwork, metal base and finish together when recommending it for a design.
  • Epoxy Coating
A clear epoxy layer sits over the printed artwork and changes the finished surface. Choose the coated look if it suits your design; we will check the combination with the selected pin.
  • See the Print on a Sample
The sample shows the image on the actual pin surface, including any coating. You can judge the finished look without having to decide the production method on your own.

Build the Printed Look You Want

Printing lets you use blended colors and graphic details alongside bold logos. We help keep the parts that matter clear at the finished size.

  • Solid-Color Graphics
Simple color areas can give a logo or symbol a clear, bold appearance. Contrast between the main artwork and background helps the image read.
  • Full-Color Artwork
Full-color printing brings multiple colors into the same design. Use it for illustrations and graphics that need more than a few separate color blocks.
  • Gradients and Shading
Use gradients for a blended background or shading within an illustration. A sample lets you see how those transitions appear on the finished pin.
  • Pantone References
If you have Pantone references for your brand colors, they help guide the print. The sample shows the actual appearance on the chosen surface.

Frame the Image with the Right Shape

A printed pin can use a regular frame or an outline based on the artwork. The shape and dimensions determine the space available for the image.

  • Round and Oval
A round or oval outline frames a centered logo, portrait or circular graphic. It gives the artwork a defined border without changing its main shape.
  • Square and Rectangle
Rectangles give longer logos and horizontal illustrations room to breathe. A square frame is another option for compact artwork and graphic designs.
  • Custom Die-Cut Shapes
Let the pin follow a character, emblem or graphic for its own silhouette. We check fine projections and narrow sections so the outline works with the pin construction.
  • Readable Detail at Finished Size
Lettering and image detail need enough space to remain clear on the pin. We help choose the dimensions around the artwork, then you can check the result on the sample.

Choose a Backing for the Finished Pin

Choose a fitting for the way the pin will be worn or displayed. We help position it so the printed design sits the right way up.

  • Butterfly Clutch
A butterfly clutch is a metal fitting that fastens to the pin post. It is an option for lapel pins and collectible designs displayed on cards.
  • Rubber Clutch
A rubber clutch provides a softer fitting on the rear of the pin post. Choose it when you prefer that material to a metal clutch.
  • Safety Pin
A safety pin uses a pin-and-catch closure. We check its fit and position against the shape of the printed pin.
  • Magnetic Backing
A magnetic fitting attaches without putting a pin post through fabric. We check its suitability for the pin and the material it will attach through.

Carry the Printed Design into the Presentation

Choose packaging for individual distribution, merchandise display, or gifting. The pack can complement the artwork without competing with it.

  • Individual Poly Bags
Individual poly bags keep each pin and its backing together for handling and distribution. They suit projects that call for simple individual packing.
  • Backing Cards
Add your brand name, collection artwork or event message to a backing card. The card gives the pin a display surface and space beyond the small printed face.
  • Paper Gift Boxes and Velvet Pouches
A paper gift box or velvet pouch gives a collectible or gift pin its own presentation. We match the pack to the size of the pin and its fitting.
  • Custom Branded Packaging
Extend the illustration or brand identity from the pin to its packaging. A coordinated pack helps the design feel like part of your collection.

The Metal Beneath the Printed Design

The artwork sits on a metal pin, so the base and surface need to work with the chosen print. We help put those choices together.

Metal Bases for Printed Designs

Our pin range includes iron, zinc alloy, brass and stainless steel. We recommend a suitable base for the printed design, taking its outline, printing method, coating and attachment into account.

Specify the Metal Beneath the Print

Brass and zinc alloy have different base compositions; iron and stainless steel also differ in corrosion behavior. The printed image and any epoxy layer are separate from the base-metal specification, so these choices need to be agreed together.

Material and Compliance Needs

Let us know if your brand or organization specifies a material or compliance requirement. We will review what can be met for the printed pin before preparing the quote.
